Ka radios: first and second generation
The original Ka (1996–2008) used Ford's own radios: the 2000, 3000, 4000 and 4500 RDS cassette units and, later, the 6000 CD. Their serials start with M followed by 6 digits and they are fully supported.
The second Ka (2008–2016) was built with Fiat and uses different radios with a different serial format. Enter your serial in the form: you will see right away whether it is supported, before paying anything.

How to unlock your Ka radio
- Try the buttons: on the 4500 RDS hold 2 and 6; on the 6000 CD hold 1 and 6. The serial appears on the display.
- Older cassette units (2000/3000/4000) usually don't show it: remove the radio with two or four release keys and read the label on the top or side.
- Get the code by entering the serial at the top of this page.
- Enter it with buttons 1–4, then hold 5 until the radio accepts it.
