Ford Sony radios
Ford offered Sony-branded CD and CD/MP3 radios on higher trims of the Focus Mk2, Fiesta Mk6 and Mk7, C-Max, Mondeo, S-Max, Galaxy and Kuga, roughly from 2004 to 2013. They look different from the standard 6000 CD but use the same kind of anti-theft code.
The serial on the label often looks like SOCD6X7V123456; the part the generator needs is the V followed by 6 digits. You can usually see it on screen with buttons 1 and 6.

How to unlock a Ford Sony radio
- Show the serial: turn the radio on, then hold 1 and 6 for about 3 seconds. The serial scrolls past; it starts with V.
- Label method: if nothing appears, remove the unit and read the label. Use the V and the 6 digits after it.

- Enter the code: use buttons 1–4 to set the digits and press and hold 5 to confirm (some versions confirm with the centre button).
